Download the executable installer and run it on the target machine.  Choose at installation time if menu entries should be provided.

Packages

The Conceptive Python SDK tries to include all the binary packages needed for building and deploying business applications.  It has setuptools and pip installed to make it easy to install any package available through the Python Package Index.

The Python SDK contains the needed packages for :
  • Database : database drivers and toolkits
  • GUI : Qt, PyQt, Matplotlib, QtDesigner
  • Security : PyCrypto, OpenSSL
  • Science : NumPy, BioPython, Sympy, H5Py, VTK
  • Finance : cdecimal, 0MQ
  • Development : Spyder IDE, nose, Cython, virtualenv, faulthandler

Licenses

The Conceptive Python SDK provides an easy way to install a lot of Open Source packages.  Each of those packages comes with its own license (GPL, LGPL, BSD...).  The Conceptive Python SDK does not give you the right to use these packages in other ways than those permitted by their licenses.  At all times a customer of the Conceptive Python SDK can request the source code of those packages.
